Dana Point residents take to streets for good cause

Countless races take place across the nation throughout the autumn, and Dana Point is no different. Locals have begun to tighten their shoelaces in preparation for a marathon slated to be held in November.

The annual 2025 Dana Point Turkey Trot is currently being billed as one of the nation's largest marathons. This race has been held for no fewer than 48 years, and similar to previous celebrations, countless runners will be attending.

The Dana Point Turkey Trot aims to raise money for charitable causes, and to give back to the community. Some of the sponsors supporting the Turkey Trot include UCI Health, R.D. Olson Development, Dana Point Harbor Partners, and Cityside Fiber.

Companies that choose to sponsor events such as this will employ several effective marketing tactics. Using the services of local Print shops, creating large banner advertisements, and television announcements are all powerful techniques.

Anyone who chooses to participate will walk away with several memorable items. These include a commemorative t-shirt, a medal, a race bib displaying timed results, and a unique goodie bag with surprise gifts.

The 2025 Dana Point Turkey Trot is being held on Thanksgiving Day, Saturday, November 27th. The competition begins at 7 AM sharp, and guests are asked to arrive at Dana Point Harbor ahead of time. Tickets prices range between $24 and $61. These can be obtained online, or by visiting the Turkey Trot website.
