Dana Point families on the hunt for some Halloween fun will find lots to enjoy when they attend a local celebration.
The Halloween Spooktacular and Trunk and Treat will be set up in the parking lot at the Dana Point Community Center parking lot. Its agenda is filled with activities, and as a kids’ costume parade has been planned, younger attendees are encouraged to dress up and join the procession.
The function will see families enjoy viewing displays set up by local law enforcement, and also the city’s Recreation Department. There will be K-9 officers to meet, and the bomb squad, bloodhounds, mounted patrol and other staff will be on site to visit with the crowd. The kids can go shelling out at the trunk and treats, and prizes will be presented to the winners of the costume parade. Games, entertainment and crafts have all been scheduled, and refreshments will be available for purchase on site.
Communities that offer Halloween activities often host these events outdoors. A banner printing company will be pleased to prepare decor that can withstand exposure to the elements, as well as other custom printed materials.
Dana Point will be welcoming families for its Halloween Spectacular and Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 26. It will run from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm, and the organizers can be contacted by phone at (949) 248-3536.
