Dana Point plans public blood drives

Dana Point has earned a reputation for being a caring community, and this will be on full display during an activity it is hoping will garner a lot of public interest.

The American Red Cross wants to get the word out to the public about its schedule of Blood Drives planned for Monarch Bay Plaza. There are five dates for the upcoming months, and those who would like to roll up their sleeve can choose the date or dates that work best for them.

The process of giving blood may be quite efficient. When they arrive, each participant will be greeted and answer some questions before a basic health check, and if all goes well, they will then be able to make their contribution. After this, they will be invited to rest for a few minutes with some light refreshments before going on about the rest of their day.

According to the organizers of these drives, they have been successful in the past, and to date, over 400 people have benefited from the blood collected. A poster printing company will be happy to help not-for-profit groups market themselves to their community without having to break the bank to do so.

The schedule for Monarch Bay Blood Drives kicks off on Wednesday, June 21. The next date after that will be August 1, and additional dates are also on the agenda.
