Thanks to an upcoming event, saving a life has never been easier for those who call Dana Point home.
The city will be the location for a blood drive organized by the American Red Cross. The Monarch Beach Sunrise Rotary Club has also lent its support to the activity, and it will be set up in the gym at the Dana Point Community Center.
Anyone who would like to get involved in the drive is asked to choose their timeslot in advance, and they are encouraged to utilize the Rapid Pass system so they can answer their screening questions before they arrive. Everyone will be greeted at the door, and the entire procedure is usually a quick one. All blood types are in demand, and there is a six-hour appointment schedule to choose from. The Dana Point Community Center will be providing a venue for the American Red Cross Blood Drive scheduled for Sunday, November 13. It will be running from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm.
