One of the tasks undertaken by the American Red Cross is managing the blood supply, and it has put out a call seeking “the gift of life”.
Dana Point Harbor Partners has partnered with the organization to host a blood collection drive and, as stockpiles are low, it was noted that donations are especially important. There are time slots available throughout the day, and the entire process usually takes about one hour.
When they arrive, each registrant will be welcomed and be asked some basic health questions. After this, they will need to sign some documents and then it will be time to donate. Once this is complete, the donor will receive a drink and snack before they head out to go about the rest of their daily activities.
Everyone who rolls up their sleeve will be asked to share their good deed on social media or with their friends, as this may encourage others to contribute as well. To thank the donors for their generosity, each will have their name entered in draw for a Super Bowl trip.
The American Red Cross noted that blood supplies are critically low, which means donation drives are especially important. Poster printing companies will be able to help an organization raise awareness about a drive or fundraising campaign.
The Dana Point Harbor Partners will be welcoming this blood donor drive on January 27th. Appointments may be booked from 9:30 am until 4:00 pm.
