Dana Point golf classic to support medical air transport

A local event that will offer golfers some spectacular views will be the venue for a Dana Point golf classic.

Angel Flight is a not-for-profit group that donates flights and other services to those with health issues or other needs, and much of this work is performed on a volunteer basis. More than 1,800 pilots donated their skills to the organization, and its golf classic fundraiser is currently accepting registration from both sponsors and the general public.

Tickets for the golf outing start at $500 each, and anyone who would like to purchase a set of four will be offered a discount. There is also an option for anyone who would like to attend the post-golf mixer. The ticket holders will be treated to the use of a cart as well as lunch, breakfast, and refreshments, and a variety of contests are in the works.

Golf fundraisers are often quite popular, with spots filling up fast. A poster printing company will be able to craft a variety of items to aid in marketing a function, and it can custom design them to its customers’ specifications.

This event held in support of those needing non-emergency medical air transport will be held at Dana Point’s Monarch Beach Golf Links on October 7. The breakfast and registration will begin at 11:00 am.
