A Dana Point institution that works to educate the public about issues affecting the world’s oceans has plans in the works for a gala evening, where the monies raised will support its programming and other initiatives.
The Ocean Institute will be rolling out the red carpet for the guests at its Jazz 2022 celebration. Formal attire is requested, and the evening will include dinner, dancing, and other fun.
When ticket holders arrive at the venue, they will be treated to champagne and a selection of hors d’oeuvres during a cocktail hour mixer, and during this, they will be able to interact with an assortment of marine animals in the touch tanks. After this, they will be invited to take their seats for the plated dinner, which will consist of several courses. A live auction and live music will complete the celebration, and tickets for the affair start at $600 each.
It was noted that a live auction is on the agenda for the occasion. The guests will be able to bid on experiences and items donated by the area’s business community. Companies often choose Corporate Gifts that include its Logo Design to contribute to fundraising events.
