Orange County will be celebrating Earth Day in a variety of ways, and one of these will give every dog, cat, fish, or other companion animal its day.
The South City Pet Expo will be held near Dana Point, and the four hours of fun are open to all. While it will be exciting and high energy, it will also have a purpose, as it will help local shelters and rescues to find new and loving homes for their charges.
Along with an opportunity to find a new furry, feathery, or scaly friend, the function will connect the public with veterinarians, pet healthcare clinics, groomers, and other establishments that can help their companion animals to live their best lives. A silent auction, food truck area and giveaway of an assortment of Promotional Products will round out the occasion.
Community fairs and festivals bring neighbors together in a spirit of fun, and they may also help to raise awareness of a cause. Banner printing and other services for an event will be available at a local printer.
This chance for Dana Point residents to join together for a day with pets in mind is set to take place on April 22. It will be open from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at 28000 Rancho Parkway in Lake Forest.
