Burbank kids and youth who are looking for some high energy summer fun may want to check out a summer day camp option that’s on offer close to home.
For five days this August, kids from ages five to seventeen will be getting a taste of a roller derby when they take part in Camp Anarchy, which will take place at Burbank’s Ralph Foy Park. It will teach the fundamentals of roller skating, and will be all about being active and having fun.
The campers in the event will be grouped according to their current ability level, and loaner gear may be available for any families that need it. The focus will be on skill development, and as well as the skating, the kids will participate in arts and crafts, games, and other fun. Each day will include some free skating, and Covid prevention measures will be adhered to.
This summer camp option is being presented to the community thanks, in part, to the Burbank Parks and Recreation Department. A flyer printing company will be able to prepare an assortment of marketing materials to help promote an event like this.
Camp Anarchy has been scheduled to start on August 2, and is open to all genders. Each day will run from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm, and the registration process can be completed by visiting its online listing.
