The much-loved Willie Nelson is on tour once again and is coming to the Southern California area. He will appear at the FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irving, just a short distance from Brea.
His Outlaw Music Festival tour includes guests the Avett Brothers, IDA Mae, Lucina Williams, and Gov’t Mule.
Now 88 years old, the legendary singer, actor, and activist began his career in the 1950s, but it was perhaps in the 1970s that it took off with the album ‘Shotgun Willie’ in 1973, followed by ‘Red Head Stranger’ in 1975 and then ‘Stardust’ in 1978. He has appeared in more than 30 movies and films and has written several Books.
A prolific musician, he released his latest album ‘That’s Life’ earlier this year. This tribute to Frank Sinatra is his 71st studio album.
