Brea to welcome in 2024 with a healthy community hike

A brand new year is on the way for Brea, and an event is in the works for the community that will greet 2024 with a state park activity.

Those who sign up for the First Day Hike that has been scheduled for Chino Hills State Park will be getting the new year off to an active and positive start. It will take place in the morning, and the attendees will meet up at the venue’s Discovery Center before they hit the trail.

Once everyone has arrived, the group will head out for a two-mile long hike that will wind its way through coastal sage scrub, chaparral, and other habitats. As they go, the hikers will be on the lookout for wildlife, and they may be able to spot everything from birds to elusive bobcats.

All ages may participate, and the route is suitable for those who require a mobility device or a stroller.

A hike or other group activity can be a fun and different way to kick off a new year. A poster printing company can lend a hand in getting the word out to as many as possible in the local area.

This first hike of 2024 will begin at 9:00am on January 1. Everyone who wants to participate is asked to meet at 4500 Carbon Canyon Road.
