Brea to raise funds with golf

Brea golfers have been invited to be part of a tournament that will offer fun in the sun while raising money to help area kids participate in organized sport.

The Orange Grove Lodge is set to host its 3rd annual tourney at Birch Hills Golf Course, and it will serve as a fundraiser for Masons 4MItts. This group supports the purchase of baseball equipment for kids, and it does so in partnership with a program that works with at least four Major League Baseball initiatives.

The registrants will have their green fees covered, and they will also receive the complimentary use of a shared cart. Everyone will need to supply their own clubs and other gear, and those who use their skills to get a hole in one at the 17th hole will be eligible to win $20,000. Registration will open two hours ahead of tee off time, and a paid lunch will follow the golf. There are lots of options when it comes to tickets, and there are also several add ons available.

A golf tournament may prove to be a successful way to raise both money and awareness of a cause. Promotional Products such as balls, hand towels and lanyards printed with an event’s Logo Design can all be prepared by a locally based Print shop.

This excuse to hit the greens in support of kids’ sport will be on offer on April 27th. Tickets may be purchased through its event listing.
