Machine embroidery is one of the tools at the disposal of those who enjoy sewing professionally or as a hobby, and a Brea workshop will supply an introduction to the practice.
Software engineer and embroidery expert DJ Anderson has scheduled a stop at a Brea venue, and he will be conducting a lecture and demonstration for the public. He will also be visiting other Moore’s Sewing Center locations in the state as well.
During the session, Anderson will discuss various models of embroidery machines, and he will also present the assortment of functions that can be performed with a design program. He will explore techniques such as lacework, applique and several others, and lots of time- and effort-saving tips are on the agenda as well. There will be a live demonstration of Floriani embroidery software in this full day of learning for the attendees.
A workshop focused on a specific hobby may benefit from the services of a flyer printing company. It can provide materials to hand out during an event, and these can include full color illustrations and other diagrams.
The Brea instalment of the Embroidery A to Z workshop will be on May 11 at Moore’s Sewing Center in Brea. The other sessions will be held in Temecula and Viejo on May 12 and 13 respectively. Tickets are $29, which includes lunch.
