The Brea Public Library provides the community with opportunities for fun and learning, and local kids have been invited to attend a special event it has in the works.
The start of August will see the library welcome a visit from Auntie Kayte, who will be offering a new spin on some traditional fairy tales. The function has received support from the Friends of the Brea Library, and the whole family is on the guestlist.
The Upside Down Fairytale Adventures activity, which will run for one hour, will be filled with stories about princesses, pirates, cowboys, cowgirls, and unicorns. It is part of the library’s initiative to help build literacy by encouraging summer reading, and it will be an interactive experience with the kids being invited to join in the fun by getting up and moving. No fee is being charged to attend the session.
Libraries offer much more than the opportunity to borrow Books, so a brochure printing company can prepare Calendars and activity guides to distribute to a library’s patrons to help them stay abreast of any upcoming activities of interest to them.
Auntie Kayte will be paying a visit to the Brea branch of the Orange County public library system on Thursday, August 1. Her visit will run from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm that day.
