Brea business to offer rug making workshop

A two-part workshop for Brea crafters will see those who participate create handmade rugs they can be proud to display, and it will be an in-person activity.

Moore’s Sewing and Vacuum, which is located at 2315 East Imperial Highway, explained that there was such a demand for its Jelly Roll Rug class that it has decided to run the session again. The fee to take part is $30, and a list of items needed for the project has been prepared.

The planners explained that anyone who is interested should attend both workshops. The first will teach them how to prepare their materials, and in the second they will sew up a new, handmade rug. The first session is scheduled to run for one hour, while the second will be a daylong activity. Karen Wheeler will be the facilitator for the function.

Hosting a learning session is one of the ways a small business can attract a new customer base, and a flyer printing company can help spread the word. It will also be able to offer other printed materials that may be useful, such as instruction sheets, registration Forms, and waivers.

The first session of this introduction to a method of rug making will take place on March 21, while the second is scheduled for March 24. A supplies list as well as other details can be found on the host’s website.
