Brea residents who love animals may want to be sure they don’t miss out on an afternoon that will be all about lending a paw to their furry friends in need.
The Whiskers and Wags pet adoption event will help companion animals that have nowhere to hang their hat to find a new and loving home. It will include a pet ‘meet and greet’ as well as other activities, and tickets are available for free.
The afternoon will see an assortment of local rescues set up information booths, which will be sharing details about fostering or adopting a new pet. They will also be able to learn about how to care for Fluffy, Fido and other pets, and they may even find a new member of the family.
As well as the adoption information area, the function will provide a boost to local small businesses by including a vendor area. Here, they can purchase an assortment of pet-related products, collect Business Cards and learn more about what each of the sellers has to offer.
Whiskers and Wags, which will be downtown Anaheim’s first ever pet adoption festival, will be held on November 11th. It will begin at 12:00 pm, and anyone who is interested in learning more or adding their name to the vendor list can do so through its online listing.
