The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) will hold an in-person, two-day summit to be followed by its Annual Thea Awards Gala.
A non-profit, TEA works on behalf of compelling places and experiences worldwide. The two-day event will include presentations and panels associated with the slate of award recipients for the year. Taking place in Anaheim at Disneyland Resort & Hotel, this year’s TEA Summit will feature the 2021 Buzz Price Thea Award winner Doris Hardoon as its Day 1 speaker.
The return of in-person networking opportunities means there is once again a need to ensure an ample supply of Business Cards will be on hand.
The Summit’s key focus will be "The State of the Industry," which will look at how the themed entertainment industry has weathered the last three years and the trends on the horizon that will influence the industry’s future. The second day will zoom in on Thea Case Studies and highlight the award recipients, and the process through which they came to be nominated.
The evening following the TEA Summit will see the return to Disneyland of the organization’s prestigious black-tie gala. Starting with a cocktail reception the evening will progress with a dinner and the Thea Awards presentations.
Individuals, projects, and technologies that are recognized by the TEA are eligible for the Thea Awards.
The TEA Summit will take place April 21 to 22, with the Annual Thea Awards Gala the following evening of April 23.
