Safety conference explores costs and benefits

The seventh annual C.W. Driver Safety Summit will be held in Anaheim next month.

Business owners and safety professionals from throughout California are invited to register in advance for the one-day business conference.

The 2021 summit will feature Richard McElhaney CSP, CRIS, MS, as the Keynote Speaker. McElhaney will present “The Real Cost of Safety”. Drawing on his 28 years of professional experience, McElhaney will share the six mandatory accident reduction systems and procedures he has developed, and the importance of using a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) during the preplanning stages of a project to prevent accidents. Through candid discussion, McElhaney will examine the true costs of safety, and the inevitable conclusion that the benefits of a safe workplace, by far exceed the obvious upfront costs.

Sponsorship opportunities are available by contacting Jim Wathen at the C.W. Driver office in Pasadena. Sponsors will be acknowledged in press releases and the event programs, and will receive a designated table at the summit. Company logos will also be incorporated on poster printing and Signs used during the conference. Premium silver, gold, and platinum sponsors will also obtain complimentary First Aid and CPR Certification from C.W. Driver.

The Safety Summit will be held on Friday, October 8, from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, at the Business Expo Center, located at 1960 South Anaheim Way. The event is free to attend with breakfast included.
