A shorted 2020 Food & Wine Festival, followed by the event’s cancellation in 2021, may have left some residents and visitors in Anaheim with disappointed palates, but 2022 is bringing nearly two months of California’s best food, beer, and wine to make up for it.
Soon, celebrity chefs and Disney characters will come together to deliver cooking demonstrations and tasting seminars galore, along with other signature events. A dozen festival marketplace booths will be set up to offer small plates showcasing dishes made with California-grown ingredients.
Youngsters 3 to 11 years old can participate in a cupcake decorate class based on Disney Junior’s “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery.” The show’s Rolly Pin will host “Alice’s Unbirthday Party” along with Alice and Princess Rosa. The class is free, although space will be limited so kids should sign up at the Hollywood Backlot Stage 45 minutes prior to a class starting.
On weekends during the Food & Wine Festival, adults can enjoy brew masters’ chats in the Paradise Beer Garden and relax in the Sonoma Terrace lounge sipping the festival’s signature cocktails.

The 2022 Food & Wine Festival will start March 4 and extend through April 26. As in the past, Sip and Savor passes will be available. These prepaid cards contain eight tabs that can be used at food and beverage stands for individual items throughout the event.
