The Southern California Institute of Food Technologists Section (SCIFTS) will be hosting its annual Suppliers’ Night Expo in Anaheim next month.
Up to 20,000 visitors are expected to attend the event as they look to discover what is new in the industry. Each year nearly 500 exhibitors from the food supply and food service industry – including dairy, bakery, meat, seafood, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical purveyors – take part in the one-day exhibition. New for the 2021 event, the SCIFTS will be providing incentives for representatives from the marketing, purchasing and research and development divisions of the food service industry to participate.
The event is attended by various food service professionals, including restaurant owners and catering companies, who are interested in discovering the latest trends in recipe themes and ingredients. Exhibitors make valuable contacts with decision makers in the profession from all over the Western United States.
By participating in the exhibition when purchasing a table, industry suppliers will receive a complimentary listing in the SCIFTS Buyer’s Guide to the show. The publication is made available to all event attendees, distributed to buyers within California, and is available for electronic viewing and download on the SCIFTS website for the next year. The 2021 Suppliers’ Night Expo is taking place on Monday, August 23 from 12:00 to 6:00 PM, in the Marquis and Platinum Ballrooms at the Anaheim Convention Center Marriott, located at 700 West Convention Way. A complimentary reception will follow the show from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
