Specialist vegan restaurant Healthy Junk, in conjunction with the Anaheim vegan community, is hosting what is hoped to be the first of many an annual Vegan Faire.
The new offering will be not only about food and eschewing the vegan lifestyle, but about the full spectrum of what it takes to embrace a healthy way of life. Booths and workshops will focus on food, fitness, clothing, and the environment from a vegan perspective.
Those who are already leading a vegan life, as well as those who are interested in easing their way into a lifestyle totally devoid of animal products, will be able to gain plenty of information. Those who cater to the vegan community, as well as other health centric vendors, will undoubtable have their brochure printers provide them with an ample supply of educational and promotional material.
The fair will take place near Healthy Junk at the Center Street Promenade in Anaheim. While there, attendees can enjoy live music while strolling shaded streets lined with vendors and non-profit booths. The event is free, and community yoga classes will be taking place throughout the day.
A finale to the festival, which takes place on Saturday, July 26, will be an attempt to form the longest Warrior Two yoga pose line and set a world record. The Vegan Faire begins at noon and continues until 6:00 pm.
