Anaheim to educate and fundraise through fashion

Fashion Fighting Famine (FFF) is holding its 7th annual charity event later this month, right here in Anaheim.

Its 2014 Fashion Show in Orange County will be a day-long event and features a Challenge Beauty Series, Shop for a Cause Bazaar, a fashion design seminar, an artistic showcase, and a runway show.

FFF strives to help nonprofit organizations, both in the United States and abroad, to fight global poverty, hunger, and disease. The group also seeks to provide a platform, through its fashion shows, to advance Muslim Americans in their pursuit of art and cultural achievements.

On its website, FFF describes itself as:

“…dedicated to empowering women, fostering sisterhood, encouraging ambition, and furthering the art of modest fashion.”

The event takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center on Saturday, May 24. Those wishing to attend can obtain tickets at the door starting at $70 (if available). To ensure a spot and pay a reduced price of $55 per ticket, those interested can register at the FFF website.

Registration opens at 12:00 pm and the event continues until 10:00 pm. Food can be purchased on site, and a prayer room will also be available.

Events such as this one often benefit greatly from employing a banner printing service. Banners, when prominently displayed, go a long way in building excitement for an event.
