Companion animals can add a lot of love to a person’s life, and an Anaheim festival dedicated to the area's pets is on the agenda for this fall.
The Emma Zen foundation has scheduled its annual Pet Fair, and it will be filled with activities that honor companion animals whether they walk, slither, swim, trot or fly. Advance tickets are available free of charge, and its schedule offers fun for everyone.
The function will see pets strutting their stuff in a costume parade and talent contest, and there will be training demos on offer. A pet first aid display will arm the attendees with tips for what to do in an emergency, and microchip Checks will be performed. There will be displays that focus on fire prevention, and a wide assortment of vendors that have products for both animals and people will be setting up booths as well.
To add an extra dash of excitement to the day, a prize draw will be held at 2:45 pm. The winner will receive an assortment of Corporate Gifts. Funds raised will help local rescue services to purchase equipment that may help save a pet's life.
Yorba Regional Park will be giving every dog, cat, bird, reptile, and other companion animal its day on Saturday, October 7. It will have its doors open from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.
