The green-fingered residents of Pickering are set to learn a few gardening tips when an expo comes to the area in February.
The Seedy Saturday & Garden Expo features a number of vendors, exhibits, and speakers who will educate and share their gardening experiences with those who attend. During the event, guests will be able to get answers to all of their gardening questions. Poster printing was most likely used to promote the educational event to people in the community.
The day will feature a number of vendors with products available to allow people to start planning for the spring gardening season. A number of special guests and expert speakers will be available to talk about gardening and related products, as well as answer questions from guests.
A number of activities have been planned for the children as well, making this a wonderful family outing. There are environmental exhibits, as well as a garden cafe offering a selection of tasty food items. As part of the experience, guests are invited to bring in the seeds they have collected from their gardens to swap with other avid horticulturists. This is a great and fun way to plan a garden early in the year.
Entry costs $3 per person at the door. The Seedy Saturday and Garden Expo will be happening on Saturday February 16th from 11am to 4pm at the Pickering Museum Village in Pickering, Ontario. To learn more, visit the Pickering Museum Village website or call Mandy Smiles at 905-420-4660.
