The 2016 Business Excellence Awards gala is taking place next month, presented by the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade.
The awards take place during BDC Small Business Week and are one of the biggest networking events for area business leaders.
The event will start off with a networking reception featuring a cash bar. It will be followed by opening remarks, dinner, and a keynote address by Allan O’Dette. The awards will then be emceed by Dan Carter, and the night will end with closing remarks from the Board of Trade.
The awards were voted on until last March. There are six awards in all that will be presented including Business Excellence (one to nine employees), Business Excellence for Charity or Non-profit, Sustainability Champion, and Business Person of the Year.
Sponsorships are available for purchase for $500 up to $5,000. Sponsors will be recognized on event signage, name badges, and printed Invitations that are sent out to area businesses.
Pickering Stationery printers are often asked to provide items such as Invitations and Signs for business events such as this.
The Business Excellence Awards will be held at the Ajax Convention Center on October 20 from 5:30 to 9:00 PM.
