Women offered business networking opportunity

Businesswomen from Braeside have the chance to learn more about succeeding in business next month with a talk from a leading small business expert.

Elizabeth Conway will give a presentation featuring seven elements that she believes are essential to business success.

At the event, she will explain each of the seven components, what they can contribute to a business’ success or failure, how to use them every day, and how to tell if they are working well.

After starting her career as a teacher, Conway ran shops in Southland Shopping Centre and Mentone Shopping Village. She now runs her own company, Isis Vision Institute, combining her teaching and business skills to help other women grow personally and professionally.

The event is being held by the Kingston Business Women’s Network and aims to help local businesswomen promote their companies and network with other entrepreneurs. The association is open to all female business owners in the City of Kingston, with a focus on small businesses.

As well as providing information, the event also focuses on networking with assistance given to help attendees make new contacts. This means it is essential to make sure business card printing is up-to-date in order to swap information with potential contacts. Some events also offer the chance for extra promotion, and brochure printers can help produce additional promotional items.
