Braeside pet owners are being invited to attend the City of Kingston’s annual Pet Expo.
The free event, to be held at Cheltenham’s Kingston Heath Reserve, brings together people and pets of all ages for a fun-filled day of fun, food and activities.
The action-packed programme provides plenty of opportunities for happy snaps of the dogs, cats and other animals that have become part of the family. Photographs taken at the Pet Expo may also be ideal as a major focus for personalised calendar and poster printing.
Activities included in the 2019 Pet Expo programme are many and varied and include free activities such as face painting and pony rides. Ferret races and a Frankston Fly Ball competition will be held along with presentations hosted by Guide Dogs Victoria.
There will be up to 50 free show Bags available for cats and dogs with each including toys, leads and treats.
Always a huge favourite with the children, the animal farm will once again be a highlight, with entry by donation. All proceeds will benefit Guide Dogs Victoria.
Pet owners will also have an opportunity to enter their cats and dogs into fun competitions such as owner-dog best look-alike, best dog trick, happiest dog, and a photo competition depicting the grumpiest and prettiest cats.
Pet registrations can be undertaken at the Pet Expo, which is to be held on March 30, 10am-3pm.
