Adelaide locals are preparing for an insightful evening with acclaimed author, speaker and physician in an event that has been scheduled for February.
Proudly brought to Adelaide through the partnership of Activate Media Events and Genius Productions, Dr Gabor Maté’s session, The Myth of Normal, will explore the intrinsic connection between mind, body and spirit, with a focus on the causes and meaning of suffering, resilience, healing and growth.
Dr Maté brings together his own research, meaningful anecdotes and wisdom to encourage his audience to address and even shift their understanding of addiction, mental health and the meaning of connection.

Dr Gabor Maté’s The Myth of Normal will be held on February 6 at the Adelaide Convention Centre, which can be found at North Terrace in Adelaide. The main lecture begins at 7:30 PM and will conclude at 10:30 PM, with doors opening at 7:00 PM.
Tickets are priced at $277 for VIPs, $177 for Gold seating and $127 for Silver seating. VIP ticket holders can enjoy early access, with doors opening at 6:00 PM, seating in the front rows, a VIP Q&A session, a group photo with Dr Maté and a signed bookmark.
