Jute is a natural vegetable fibre made from the outer stem and skin of the jute plant. Harvested fibres are spun into yarn, which is then used to make reusable bags and other products. The plants are easily farmed without pesticides, and grow to maturity within 6 months. The material is biodegradable and compostable. This bag has long cotton handles and a button loop closure
