The first step to creating a great T-shirt is making the design; the next step is choosing the design's size and placement. There are several options for design placement that you can choose from, each with its own impact.

Left Chest.

This is one of the most popular design placement options for employees or events. Any small basic design can make a significant impact when placed here. This design's exact size and placement are typically 7-10 cm and ~7cm away from the collar.

Center Chest.

This is another popular choice; it features a larger design in the center of the front of the T-shirt. (Think of superman’s “S”-logo.) This design's exact size and placement are typically 15-25 cm wide and ~10cm below the collar.

Full Front.

This placement is commonly used for large detailed designs printed across the front of the T-shirt. The exact size and placement of this design are typically 30x35 cm and ~7cm below the collar. While this is a very popular size, it’s important to note that screen printing this size can cause a heavy Print that isn’t breathable, so consider your options carefully.

Oversized Front.

This placement is a lot like Full Front, the only difference being that the design is even bigger. The placement is usually slightly higher up, only about 5cm from the collar, and the size can be between 35 - 40 cm or even larger. The maximum size will be based on the size of the T-Shirts.

Collar / Small Upper Back.

This placement is commonly used for logos. This is usually a small design placed just under the collar on the upper back; the size can be as small as 3cm, but they are generally between 5-10 cm.

Upper Back.

This placement is larger than the collar placement, and the design is usually stretched across the shoulders. The size of this placement is usually 30-35cm and 10cm below the collar. This is a great place to put a logo or event name to attract attention.

Full Back.

This classic print location is second in popularity after the Full Front, but it's printed slightly lower and often larger. The exact size and placement of this design are typically 30x35 cm or up to 40cm. The Full Back paired well with a Left Chest is an excellent choice for a classic combination.

Sleeves.

This print location is similar to the Left Chest in that it works best for simpler artwork. The standard placement for this type of artwork is ~2.5cm from the Hem. Depending on the design and preference, the size can vary between 2-10cm.
