Jobseekers are invited to attend a Career Fair being held this week at the DoubleTree Crystal City. Several dozen sponsors will be at this event, and many will likely have managers on site to conduct on-the-spot interviews.
Attendees are encouraged to sign up for the event in advance and come prepared for interviews in professional attire. Jobseekers should also be ready to spend a lot of time meeting with the sponsors and learning about career opportunities first hand. Those attending should consider using a printing company prior to the event to ensure an adequate supply of high quality business bards and résumés to share with companies at the fair.
The event is sponsored by National Career Fairs, which holds hundreds of events nationwide each year. Its mission is to help not only jobseekers but also the companies in need of quality employees.
National Career Fairs also intends to offer training seminars and workshops at its events. The new owners of the organization have already partnered with a team to bring training to prospective employees in order to provide a higher quality workforce for the companies coming to the events.
