The Taste of DC is taking place over two days this month, with Pennsylvania Avenue NW from 9th to 14th Streets providing the scene for the festivities.
There are expected to be more than 20 food trucks participating in the festival and at least 40 local restaurants. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase. Visitors can also take a wine walk where they can sample over 50 varieties, with tickets available for 1oz or 5oz tastings.
There will be music performances taking place on several different stages. Among the confirmed acts who will be performing this year are the Muddy Crows, Ben O'Neill, and Vox Pop.
The Punch Kings and Pigs competition will take place on the first day of the festival, in which 12 bartenders compete to create the best punch.
The Heritage BBQ is also being held during the festival. This will feature five chefs and unlimited food and drink. VIP tickets are available and provide early admission to the event.
The event will no doubt attract food lovers from all over the area, including Arlington. Local Print companies may have provided advertising materials to the organizers.
