The 10th annual Scholar's Cup is taking place next month. It is a presentation of, and a fundraiser for, the Rich Doud Arlington Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund, and 100% of all funds raised will go to the organization.
The event will consist of a mini-golf tournament, dinner, musical entertainment, and an awards presentation. Participants will receive a golf hat or visor and a T-shirt. Participants play in teams of four and there are trophies for first and second place. There will also be contests such as putting and hole-in-one. The tournament is open to golfers of all ages.
Sponsorships are available from $175 up to $1,000, and sponsors will be supplying the funds for hole Signs, trophies and T-Shirts. All sponsors will be recognized during the event on Banners and Signs.
Arlington banner printing companies will no doubt be asked to help supply Banners to recognize those contributing.
The Scholar's Cup will be held at the Upton Hill Regional Park from September 16 from 3:30 pm - 7:00 pm. Fees are $25 for players aged 16 and over and $15 for those aged 15 and under, while dinner only is $15. Those who plan on playing are asked to register by September 9.
