Dominion Hills readies for the holidays with its annual craft show

The Dominion Hills Area Recreation Association will be holding its 13th Annual Fall Craft Show in a few days.

A group of 12 regional and local artisans will be presenting original works in the art genres of notecards, glassware, quilts, pottery, sculpture, papercutting, woodturning jewelry, painting, and body and soap products.

Sovereign Treasures will once again be presenting hand-painted glassware. Myers Young Designs will be bringing colorful quits. BKJ Designs is presently working on pastels to sell at the show. Amy Green Thrasher will be presenting felted sculpture and Wearables. The greeting, prints and notecards will be available by Liz Hutcheson. Dave Jennings will have his papercuttings. Pottery will be offered by both Moon O’Conner and Steven Summerhill. Gary Trusty will be bringing his Fine Woodturned Pieces. Julie Jernigan of Jules’ Jewels will have some of her original piece for sale. To get a glimpse of some of the items that will be available, those interested can go to the show’s Facebook page.

Both guests and artisans will want to have their custom Business Cards handy to exchange information for possible future contact for personalized holiday gifts.

The show is slated for this Saturday, November 5 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. It will be at the Dominion Hills Community House, 6000 Wilson Blvd. here in Arlington. Admission will be free.
