DC festival celebrates the end of summer

In the Capital Magazine is presenting its DC Fest this month in the capital.

Lots of activities will be taking place at the festival, including food trucks with themes like ‘Feelin' Crabby’ and ‘Dolci Gelati’, beer and summer cocktails, vendors, and musical entertainment provided by local band Party Like it's...

Attendees can also entertain themselves with lawn games, bear pong, giant Jenga, tents themed around golf and at the DC United soccer team, and sports activities such as basketball and football.

For those who want to relax and keep cool, there is the Urban Igloo Lounge. Those who feel alone without their phone will be pleased to know that a charging station will be available as well, and the winners of the Coolest Companies Competition will be announced during the event.

No doubt this festival will draw visitors from all over the city and the area, including nearby Arlington. Local printing companies might help by providing such services such as sign and poster printing.

DC Fest will take place at the Half Street Fairgrounds on September 4 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. General admission is $18, which includes one drink, and VIP is $65 with unlimited drinks. The event is only open to those aged 21 and over. To find out more, visit the In the Capital's website.
