Bridges to Independence, Arlington County’s largest community empowerment program, will hold Bridges Virtual Bash in a few days. As well as a fundraiser, the online event will celebrate the organization’s 36th anniversary.
The event will begin with a brief program about the non-profit group. Music will be supplied by a live DJ. Next will be a silent auction followed by the two breakout activities the viewer chose at registration. Some of the breakout options will include a Zouk dance lesson, and trivia game participation.
Event tickets are $150 per individual or $200 for two. One raffle ticket comes with each registration while others may be purchased for $10 each. Raffle items will include handmade artwork by Bridges kids and a BBQ grill set.
If registration is received by Monday, April 5, the organization will deliver complimentary dessert and champagne to registrant’s home. Viewers are encouraged to get take-out dinners at Enjera Entrean Restaurant, Lebanese Taverna, Greens n Teff, Bon Chon, or Good Company and enjoy them during the event.
Donations, both individual and Corporate Gifts, along with proceeds from this event will go to Bridges to Independence’s funds, which have been supporting over 100 county families over the last few months.
Bridges Virtual Bash will be on Zoom on April 16th from 8:00 pm until 9:30 pm. Both the event link and the activity link will be given at registration.
