Arlington supports young entrepreneurs with mini-golf tournament

The Arlington Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 13th Annual Scholar’s Cup toward the end of September.

This will be a family-friendly fundraising event for the Young Entrepreneurs Academy, a 21-week program for middle and high school age youth to learn about business. Over 225 mini-golf enthusiasts are expected to attend.

The mini-golf tournament will be a social affair with plenty of time to mingle and network, so attendees will want to remember to bring their updated Business Cards.

Foursomes can register for $100, individuals for $30, and kids 18 and under can play for $15. These registrations include dinner, while dinner-only tickets will be $20 each.

Of the 18 holes, 16 have sponsors already. Some of them are A Main Event Caterers, Beach Geeks Inc., Capital MarCom, and the Dittmar Company.

Americana Hotel will be sponsoring this year’s trophy. There will also be sponsors for T-Shirts sporting the event’s graphic logo, a golf gift and a grand sponsor. The golf gifts will be Promotional Products such as visors, golf hats, and umbrellas. The Barbeque Sponsor will be Rockland’s Barbeque & Grilling Company.

The 13th Annual Scholar’s Cup is slated for September 25 from 3:30 pm until 7:00 pm at Upton Hill Regional Park, 6060 Wilson Boulevard. The event will have two tee times – one at 4:00 pm and the other at 5:30 pm.
