The 11th annual State of the Net internet policy conference is taking place this January. The aim is to educate policy makers and others on mobile technology and the future of the internet.
The conference is presented by the Internet Caucus Advisory Committee (ICAC) and is the largest of its kind in the United States. There will be plenty of networking opportunities between business leaders and government employees, along with panel discussions and speeches.
Some of those who will be speaking at this year's conference are Leslie R. Caldwell, the Assistant Attorney General, Aneesh Chopra from Hunch Analytics, and Andrea Glorioso of the EU Delegation to the United States.
Sponsorships are available from $5,000 up to $25,000; sponsors will be recognized on Print advertising and will be allowed to have their logo on the conference tote bag.
Members of the public, nonprofit companies, media, and government staff from all over the region, including Arlington, are likely to want to attend this event. Local Print companies may be asked to provide any Print advertising products.
State of the Net will take place at Newseum's Knight Conference Center in Washington, D.C. on January 27 from 8:00 am - 7:00 pm. Conference fees are $575 for the private sector and the public, $450 for ICAC members, $70 for nonprofit organizations, and free for government staff and media.
