Sugar Land Santa 5k and 10k run/walk returns
This year's 10th annual Sugar Land Santa 5k and 10 k run/walk has been scheduled for early December.
The 5k, 10k and Kids' 1k will start and end outside the Constellation Field's entrance. The 5k runners will go around the course once and the 10k participants will run the course twice. The after party will take place inside the stadium.
Awards both the 5k and 10k will be given for first, second and third place female and male finishers in 13 age groups. Kid's 1 k race awards will go to the first, second and third place girl and boy finishers in three age categories.
Packets will be available, and last-minute registration will be from 7:15 am to 8:15 am on race day. Best Christmas costume and runner gear contest winners will be announced at 8:15 am with the 5k and 10k starting at 8:30 am. The 5k awards will be announced at 9:30 am with the 10 k and the Kid's start beginning at 10:00 am.
Registration for the 5k will be $37.99 online, $44.99 for 10 k and $24.99 for the Kid's 1k. Swag will include red classic t-shirts sporting the event's graphic design. For $5 more, runners can receive the t-shirts sporting a Santa outfit design. Santa sugar cookies, candy canes, and finisher medals will be waiting at the finish line.
