Patchogue festival to celebrate cask ales

Next month, the 18th Annual Cask Ales Festival will take place in Patchogue to celebrate the nuanced flavors of cask ale beers and provide a festive atmosphere.

The festival will be hosted by Blue Point Brewing Company, a small brewery and brewpub in Patchogue that offers innovative beers in a laidback atmosphere. The event will also serve as a charity benefit as a portion of the proceeds will go towards supporting Long Island Cares, which is Long Island’s first food bank established by singer-songwriter and activist Harry Chapman.

The beer fest will feature over 50 breweries providing samples of their craft brews to attendees. There will also be live music from DJ Kaution, Ernie & The Band, and The Warped Tour Band. Vendors will include Metrix Jewelry, Blue Island Oyster, and The Subtle Tea Company, among many others. Food trucks such as Cooney Island Joes, Island Empanada, and Bobbique will be on site.

General admission tickets will grant attendees a souvenir tasting glass with an etched Logo Design and unlimited samples from the cask ales. VIP admission will grant early access, VIP lane, private lounge, and separate bathroom.

The cask ale festival is scheduled for November 5, beginning at 1:00 pm. It will take place at Blue Point Brewing Company on 225 West Main Street. General admission tickets are $76.25, and VIP tickets are $134.77.
