Two new stores in Nanuet recently opened their doors to the public.
According to officials from the Rockland Business Association, Carpet One and The Tile Shop now occupy a space that once was home to an Ethan Allen showroom. They have helped to revitalize the shopping area and enable people who live in Rockland County the ability to fulfill their dreams of home improvement.
Lees, Bigelow, Stanton, and Stainmaster are among the carpet brands offered at Carpet One, which is a member of a carpet cooperative that is among the largest in the United States. The store also offers laminate, wood flooring, linoleum, and vinyl tile. It has a large inventory of runners and area rugs and does custom installations of Rubbermaid Closets. It sells these materials to both those who want to do it themselves and contractors.
Judy Kane, owner of the store, said that the location enables customers to have a great experience shopping for their products.
The Tile Shop offers sandstone, travertine, ceramic, and marble tile among its 4,000 choices in various designs and patterns. The store also has accessories and fixtures for completing a project. It has a class every Saturday at 9:30 am for those who want to learn more about installing tiles themselves.
