West Berlin residents deep dive into history
People in West Berlin can experience a bit of history and tasty treats right next door, at the Mount Holly Food Tour.
Participants in this tour experience a balanced agenda of history and food tasting. There will be plenty of options and guests are encouraged to pick up business cards from favorite establishments to share with friends and family.
Mount Holly played a part in the Revolutionary War in the Battle of Iron Works Hill. This three-hour tour will begin with a stop at The Robin's Nest, famous for their homemade soups. Then, the tour will continue to Kitchen 87 where a South American breakfast can be explored. Next, the group will stop at The Local, where there will be pub fare as well as a variety of craft beers.
Next, guests will take an art tour through Gallery 72, known for contemporary and abstract art, accompanied by sample wine and chocolates. Finishing the tour, guests will be invited to try some homemade ice cream at Vincent's Homemade Ice Cream shop.
The Mount Holly Food Tour will take place on Saturday, August 1, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Reservations are required for all interested participants.
