West Berlin area gala to help feed community

This November, Cathedral Kitchen (CK) will hold its annual Harvest for Hunger fundraiser as an in-person event in the Berlin area for the first time in two years.

Cathedral Kitchen is a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting hunger and food insecurity in the community. Besides its commitment to transparency and excellence, it is also Camden County’s largest emergency food provider, providing the community with over 100,000 meals a year. The Harvest for Hunger is CK’s annual fundraiser, which had been hosted virtually the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, it will finally return to its traditional in-person format.

The fundraising gala will feature a variety of food, drinks, and entertainment. There will be food stations and buffets of hors d’oeuvres served by CK’s culinary staff, as well as nine sampling tables of craft beer, wine, and spirits. NBC10 news anchors (current) Erin Coleman and (former) Terry Ruggles will oversee the silent and live auctions of goodies and promotional products. Over 400 guests from the Burlington and Camden County areas are expected to attend.

The Cathedral Kitchen gala will take place on Thursday, November 3, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It will be held at Lucien's Manor on 81 West White Horse Pike, Berlin, only 1.2 miles from West Berlin. General admission is $100.
