Township near West Berlin to hold Galentines event
Forgotten Angels Equine Rescue in Evesham, just outside West Berlin, will host the Galentine's Bingo event next month to raise money for rescue horses.
Established in 2015, Forgotten Angels Equine Rescue is a non-profit organization focused on rescuing horses that would otherwise get sent to the slaughterhouse. The non-profit has thus far saved over 350 horses and as advocated and participated in legislative action to further protect horses in danger. The Galentine’s Bingo event will use the money raised by ticket sales to support the rescue's mission, as well as the sanctuary horses that participate in the Equine Therapy Program for Veterans program.
The bingo event will be a BYOB event, with attendees encouraged to bring their own food and drinks. The evening will consist of ten games of bingo where players have the chance to win designer bags and spa certificates valued at over $100 each. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and basket raffles filled with goodies and promotional products. Bingo books are $35, 50/50 tickets are $5 a ticket, and basket raffles are $20 per one sheet of 25 tickets.
The bingo fundraising event is scheduled for February 10 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. It will be held at The Gibson House on 535 East Main Street in Evesham. General admission is $35.
