Kids to cook up fun at cooking workshop
Next Month, Lil Sous Chefs Cooking School will host a Cook & Craft Workshop for kids in the Voorhees Township and surrounding areas such as West Berlin.
Lil Sous Cooking School was founded in 2019 with the mission of providing mobile cooking classes to interested people across the state. The organization rents out local facilities in different areas of South Jersey in order to meet community needs. The children’s workshops are designed for kids ages 2 to 17 and incorporates games and food trivia to keep the young chefs-in-training engaged.
November’s Cook & Craft Workshop will teach children ages 5 to 12 how to make a cheesy soup as well as how to craft paper flowers using dyed coffee filters. Owner Chef Nina will guide the children through not only how to cook a cheese-based soup but also the importance of kitchen safety. Megan from NutMeg Creative will break down the process of making paper flowers.
How-to workshops often use printed educational materials such as brochures to facilitate learning, which may prompt organizers to seek out brochure printing services.
The Cook & Craft Workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, November 17, from 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm. It will take place at The Spot Teen Center on the second floor of the Voorhees Town Center, located just a few miles from West Berlin. Tickets are $36.
