Subcontractor meeting planned in Maryland Heights

The American Subcontractors Association (ASA) Midwest Council will be holding an informal meeting in November at Syberg’s on Dorsett in Maryland Heights.

Business Practice Interchange (BPI) in a Box is a program that gives subcontractors and supplies a chance to exchange information with fellow professionals in an informal environment over lunch. Members of the ASA can share the first-hand experiences they have had with general contractors and business owners. The meeting will discuss several companies and projects, including Wright Construction, Rhodey Construction, and the Soccer Stadium Project.

The ASA Midwest Council is a trade association in the construction industry that wishes to improve the construction process through collaboration and hosting educational events. Dan Tucker is the current president of the council, and Dennis Voss is the vice president. Those who become members of the subcontractor’s association receive benefits such as legislative representation, networking opportunities, and access to training seminars.

The BPI in a Box activity will take place on Wednesday, November 16 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Tickets to the event will cost $25 per person. Only members of the ASA will be allowed to take part in the program, and all participants must register in advance. The cost of lunch at Syberg’s on Dorsett is included in the ticket price. People who go to meetings such as this can bring Business Cards to offer to their peers.
