The Center For Specialized Services will be holding a bingo fundraiser at the Maryland Heights Community Center in April.
Rock N’ Roll Bingo is a creative fundraising event that replaces the numbers in bingo with short song clips from famous artists. The venue will provide light refreshments, beer, and wine to attendees, though guests are also permitted to bring their own food and beverages. Companies may sponsor the bingo event for $100, $250, or $1,000. Supporting the activity will give businesses benefits like having their brand featured at each table and being included on the organizer’s social media posts.
The Center for Specialized Services is a nonprofit founded in 1986 to help those with disabilities lead productive lives. The programs offered by the group are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Ron Glenn is the center’s executive director, and Janice Schenewerk is the organization’s business manager. The programs offered by the organization include community support services and career development services.
The bingo session will be on Friday, April 21 at 6:00 pm. Tickets to the activity will cost $25 per person. People who want to offer additional support to the Center For Specialized Services can become volunteers, participate in the group’s fundraisers, and help advocate for those with disabilities. Non-profits that arrange activities like this may use Print shops to create ads for their events.
