Maryland Heights to organize cultural celebration

The Brahma Kumaris St. Louis Meditation Center will host a community program in November at the Maryland Heights Community Center.

Those interested in learning about Indian culture can attend the celebration, which will feature cultural dance performances, creative meditation sessions, and interactive workshops. Attendees may also participate in group dance activities and try Indian cuisine. Organizations that hold cultural events for their communities may use poster printing services to advertise their festivals.

The Brahma Kumaris St. Louis Meditation Center is an organization that offers self-help courses and teaches people how to meditate properly. Many events have been held by the center, including the Compassionate Communication Workshop, Power of Acceptance Workshop, and the Healing the Past Workshop. The group also offers meditation sessions for children and weekly guided meditations. The center was established as a charity in 1977 and has facilities not just in Missouri, but also Tennessee, Kansas, and Iowa.

The cultural celebration will be held on Saturday, November 16. All ages are welcome to attend the center's event, and there is no cost to register, although guests are asked to leave voluntary donations. Space is limited at the community center, so participants should register in advance. The program will take place from 12:30 pm to 2:15 pm, and the doors to the event will open at 12:20 pm.
