The O’Fallon Brewery in Maryland Heights will organize a pumpkin-themed beer sampling event in October.
The 5th Annual Pumpkin Fest is a tasting activity where legal beer drinkers can try six special beverages. This year, the flavors include pumpkin varieties such as chai tea, salted caramel, and cheesecake. Guests can take pictures at the brewery’s photobooth and participate in pumpkin eating competitions. Local artists will perform music at the fest, and there will also be crafts vendors set up at the venue. Souvenir glasses are included with the admission cost.
The pumpkin festival will benefit the Duo Dogs organization. The group is a non-profit that trains dogs to help those who face physical challenges and require emotional assurance. The dogs raised by the organization also help provide well-being to patients in hospitals. The non-profit was formed in 1981 and has placed more than 200 assistance dogs since it was created. The group also consists of more than 700 active volunteers.
The pumpkin fest will be held on Saturday, October 1 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. People can enter the event for $5, though guests must pay $35 for the all-inclusive experience. Those who purchase their tickets at the door will pay $40 instead. Breweries that hold activities such as this may use flyer printing to market the tasting events to locals.
