A fundraising race for a cancer research organization will be held in September at the Tremayne Shelter in Maryland Heights.
The 7th Annual Billy Bob Trot is a community activity where people can help support The Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation. The program raises awareness for esophageal cancer and helps fund the organizer’s search for a cure. People can complete the race at their own pace. Those who want to help the cause can make their own fundraising teams for the trot. Participants may also choose to raise money individually.
Companies can support The Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation by sponsoring the trot. There are four tiers available that range from $250 to $2,000. Every package will include a mention on social media, and recognition in the trot’s email marketing campaign. The upper tiers will include benefits such as having the sponsor’s name placed on the race’s shirt and an opportunity to have a booth space at the event.
The Billy Bob Trot will take place on Saturday, September 2nd. There will also be a virtual version of the fundraiser that will be held from September 2nd to September 3rd. Tickets for the trot will cost participants $20 in advance or $25 on the day of the event. Research foundations that put together community fundraising events like this can market these races to more people by using banner printing services.
